Library General Usage Rules

Academic and administrative staff working at Eskişehir Osmangazi University, associate degree, undergraduate and graduate students, Eskişehir Osmangazi University Alumni Association members, academic staff and graduate students of the universities with which a protocol has been made are the natural members of the library.

General Rules to be obeyed in library use:

a) Food and beverages except water is not allowed in the library building, reading rooms and corridors. 

b) Talking on mobile phones inside the library building is prohibited.

c) No unauthorized recordings with cameras, mobile phones or similar devices are allowed in the library.

d) Users are responsible for their own belongings. The Library and Documentation Department is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

e) No loud talking is allowed in the reader's rooms and corridors.

f) Borrowing and returning items are completed fifteen minutes before the library closes.

g) Computers in the library are used only for educational and research purposes.

h) If library rules are not followed, the user is responsible for heeding the warnings of the library staff.

i) Any user who damages library information resources and belongings (computers, chairs, tables, etc.) is reported to the Rectorate for necessary legal action.

j) If information resources are removed or attempted to be removed from the library without permission, the user who engages in this action will be reported to the Rectorate for necessary legal action to be taken.

k) Members are responsible for promptly reporting any changes to the information on the library registration form upon first use.
